Tom Dang caught the real estate bug at twenty-one when he decided to learn how to flip houses, and after earning 30K on his first house, he was hooked. Today, Tom is an expert flipper and a Realtor with 13 years of experience who excels at helping people with diverse real estate goals. He targets his strategies to his clients’ desired outcomes, and they remark about his responsiveness, availability, tenacity, honesty, and well-rounded expertise.
Tom moved to the Bay Area from Vancouver five years ago and began working with his in-laws who were contractors. There, he refined his renovation chops and honed his cost-benefit analysis skills. A degree in marketing and years of managing and flipping properties have given Tom a keen eye for transaction details, and he regularly helps sellers and flippers obtain the best returns on their investments.
Buyers that work with Tom say he always has a Plan B and that he patiently guides them through the process while finding them the best house for their money. He also specializes in helping renters decide whether it’s the right time to buy. If so, depending on their real estate goals, he either finds their dream home or introduces them to the investment market.
Tom volunteers as an Education Committee Chair for VNARP (Vietnamese National Association of Real Estate Professionals), a group dedicated to empowering the San Jose immigrant community by providing education and networking opportunities. He enjoys mentoring immigrant entrepreneurs so they can get a strong start in their new country. You can also find him appreciating the time spent with his wife. After all, she’s the reason he moved here.
